Wisdom

Spiritual Practice: Wisdom isn't true wisdom until it is put into practice. Act on wisdom you read and hear about. Then that wisdom becomes a part of you. Practice some bit of wisdom every day. Experiment with it on the proving ground of life.

Spiritual Practice: Bring out your inherent wisdom by entering into the silence of meditation every day for at least five or ten minutes. Peace increases your intuitive faculty and makes you receptive to receiving wisdom.

Spiritual Practice: Act on the wisdom of those who are spiritually evolved rather than gaining wisdom solely by the painful and slow process of trial and error. You can't avoid trial and error entirely, but you can progress more quickly when following the precepts of those who have already traveled the path to Self-realization. Pick spiritual actions suggested in writings by spiritually advanced teachers, and practice them during the week.

Spiritual Practice: Let spiritual principles guide you when making a decision. Realize that nothing is ever black or white but rather shades of gray. The most beneficial decision in a given situation might not be the best one in other similar situations. Discrimination is necessary. Learn to discriminate to determine the best course of action in any circumstance.
