Visualization
Spiritual Practice: One way to increase your confidence with visualization is to try it out on your physical body. The mind can have an immediate effect on the body. If you feel tired, for example, resist the temptation to say “I am tired" and instead tense and relax the body: inhale and tense, hold the tension for a few seconds and visualize cosmic energy filling you, exhale and relax. Practice six times whenever you feel the need for vitality. If you wish, combine the visualization with an affirmation: “I am energized." “I am full of vitality." “I am full of energy."
Spiritual Practice: Think of who you want to become in your inner and outer world. What does that ideal “you" look like? Imagine how that ideal “you" would act in different situations. What thoughts would you have? How would you treat others? How would you let others treat you? Create these mental movies and play them over and over in your mind at the end of your meditations or any time you can sit quietly and focus within. Visualize as if this ideal way of being were already part of you.
Spiritual Practice: Think about what you want to accomplish in the world. List your goals and create a visualization for each one, imagining each accomplishment as an established fact. Visualize that accomplishment and feel the joy of attaining that goal. Be patient, and work toward your goals, allowing the methods to attain them to come to you at the right time.
Spiritual Practice: Think about what you want to have in the world. For example, a particular kind of job, healthy relationships, and so on. List them and create corresponding visualizations to help you attain them. Visualize and take necessary actions. Keep visualizing and patiently allow them to manifest.
Spiritual Practice: Use visualization as an act of service to another person. If your friends or family members are struggling with some aspect of their lives, visualize them acting or being or having that which they want to accomplish. It will give them a boost in their own efforts.
