Power of Thought

Spiritual Practice: Every manifestation in the inner and outer worlds begins with thought. Before the building comes the thought of the building. Thought has the power to change existing circumstances, create new ones, and manifest something entirely new in the world. Create a blueprint in your mind and manifest it outwardly.

Test your strong thoughts on your body. If you have a minor chronic problem, visualize or imagine yourself with a perfectly functioning body in that area. Don't neglect medications or ignore your doctor's advice, but keep that vision before your mind and feel the joy of that health. Affirm health and keep it up, for weeks if necessary, believing from the core of your being that you can manifest health, and watch your condition improve.

Spiritual Practice: Every morning as soon as you awaken, think good and powerful thoughts. Do this for a week and see what effect it has on each succeeding day.

Spiritual Practice: Pay attention to the phrase “I can't." Catch yourself whenever you think it or say it. By saying “I can't," you give the verdict, you pronounce failure before you begin. Next, take a look at what you're saying “I can't" about. Is it something you want to do or need to do? If so, tell yourself “I can and I will" and take steps to accomplish it. Even if you fail, you'll gain strength from having tried, and you'll learn from the experience. Then try again.

Spiritual Practice: Whatever you have attracted that you don't like, you can remove it or improve it by changing your thoughts. Look at your circumstances. Pick one or more of them and visualize and affirm what you do want. Cease complaining about the circumstance that you don't want and keep the image of what you do want joyously before you. Get excited about it. See it as already a reality, and watch it manifest in time.

Spiritual Practice: Thought is like a prayer. When there is desire behind it, and your mind revolves around that thought continuously, it manifests sooner or later. Pick something you want—physically, mentally, or spiritually—reduce it to a short phrase or image and repeat it or visualize it regularly with concentration, until you get it. Be patient and keep fanning the desire and the will to get it.

Spiritual Practice: Spend the week consciously wishing only the best for everyone you interact with or think of. Those thoughts will help them and also attract the best to you because it is what you're focusing on.
