Spiritual Practices

Hope

Spiritual Practice: Think regularly in these terms: “Whatever circumstances I have brought upon myself, I can undo. Through my right thoughts and actions, I can eventually bring about the conditions that I want in my life. I can and I will."

Spiritual Practice: Faith cultivates hope. Perform the spiritual practices under the topic “Faith," and hope will grow along with faith. Affirm regularly: “I have hope because of my faith in God's love for me and in his desire for my highest good."

Spiritual Practice: “Hope springs eternal" by contacting the soul within in meditation. Affirm at the end of your meditation: “Hope springs from God. God is in me as my soul. Hope springs from my own soul. I have hope. I am Hope."

Spiritual Practice: Visualize ideal circumstances for yourself. If you don't like the circumstances you're in, visualize better circumstances and perform actions in line with that visualization. Keep persevering. As your situation starts to improve, your hope will automatically get a boost.

Spiritual Practice: Decide to make some spiritual effort today, no matter how small. Realize that as you make effort, it will set in motion the energy required to improve things in the future.
