Spiritual Practices
Attunement with God
Spiritual Practice: Repeat a short prayer or affirmation such as, “Guide my reason, guide my will, and guide my actions so that I'm in tune with you in all that I do."
Spiritual Practice: To reach an important decision, analyze the various aspects of the situation, weigh your options and the pros and cons, and pray for guidance. Test any decision you make in silent meditation. At the end of meditation, place your decision before the Divine Presence and ask, “Is this the right decision?" Then feel for a response. Is there a peaceful, good feeling? Or is there uneasiness or doubt? Did you bring in the uneasiness or doubt, or did it arise after asking the question? If there's no clear answer, keep calm and keep asking. Allow it to come to you without forcing it. Be open to getting an answer later, when you least expect it.
Spiritual Practice: Once you've made a decision about something and have started acting on it, be open to further guidance. Be ready to change direction if you receive further intuitive promptings.
Spiritual Practice: The soul is naturally attuned to God, so spend time meditating to reach deeper states of soul-awareness. Soul-awareness is God-awareness and it manifests as peace, joy, love, wisdom. Affirm: “I am the perfect soul. I am one with God."
